Wicked West End stars Laura Pick and Carl Man (pictured below) will be reunited for the northern performances of the record-breaking hit musical, at the Liverpool Empire (June 20-July 14, 2024), and the Manchester Palace (December 3, 2024-January 12, 2025).
Liverpool seats are already on sale, and the Manchester box office opens on May 19. The only other provincial dates are in Edinburgh, Birmingham and Sunderland (dates here)
Laura Pick as Elphaba was announced earlier this year, but fans learned today that her London co-star will join her on the tour, re-creating the role of Fiyero.
Carl Man most recently appeared in the London production of & Juliet, playing Romeo more than 100 times. Before that he spent three years in Wicked in the West End.
He said: “When I first got to play Fiyero it was opposite Laura, so I’m incredibly excited to be reuniting with her in this phenomenal show."
Laura first joined the West End production of Wicked in 2017 and played the leading role of Elphaba at more than 350 performances. Most recently she wowed viewers with a performance of the show's hit song Defying Gravity at BBC1’s Big Night of Musicals.
The pair will be performing As Long As You’re Mine from Wicked at Magic at the Musicals at the Royal Albert Hall on May 14.
