Tony Award-winning Titanic The Musical is setting sail on a new UK tour next year, docking at Salford’s Lowry from July 4-8.
The production will open at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley in March 2023 – 10 years after its critically-acclaimed London debut.
Based on real people aboard the ill-fated ship, the show focuses on the hopes and aspirations of the passengers, all innocently unaware of the tragedy to come.
The original Broadway production won five Tony awards, including Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book. Producer Danielle Tarento said: “We’re so excited that the great ship is embarking on a new UK tour. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since the UK premiere; it feels like a lifetime ago and only just the other day, in equal measure!
"After the couple of years that we have all lived through, to be able to mark this anniversary by revisiting some favourite venues from the last tour, and also taking the show to some new ones, feels especially joyful.”
