Last time Tom Lister donned the tights and wig of Captain Hook he won the "best villain" award at the inaugural 2016 Great British Pantomime Awards.

Now he's back in Neverland for another Christmas of mayhem and panto magic, this time at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton, for The Further Adventures of Peter Pan - The Return Of Captain Hook (December 6-January 5).

Stringing together a series of disgraceful puns, producer Martin Dodd declared: “Never will your swash have been so buckled, so hook your tickets today - because the croc is ticking!”

After defeating the evil Captain Hook, life has been peaceful in Neverland. But when a mysterious stranger arrives, Peter Pan is forced to confront his past and decide his future. Will he ever grow up? And then there are the rumours: is it true Captain Hook survived the stormy seas and is seeking revenge?

Danny Colligan (Cable Street, Dirty Dancing, Let It Shine) is Peter, while Floral panto favourite Sean Jones as Smee is back for a fifth year.

Holly Atterton reprises her Tinkerbell, flying all the way from her home in old Brighton to New Brighton, and says: “Tink is iconic. She’s a force to be reckoned with and she has a heart of gold. I can’t wait to get my skates on - literally - and perform at the Floral Pavilion!”
