Undaunted by having to close last year’s panto early, Theatr Clwyd is plugging in the guitars with the volume up to 11 with the news this year’s Christmas show will be Robin Hood The Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto.
Following the Welsh Government’s changes to Covid-19 rules, Theatr Clwyd was forced to close live performances of 2021’s Beauty and The Beast on Christmas Eve.
The hope is no such restrictions will apply this winter, with Robin and his mates rocking up to Sherwood from November 19-January 14 2023.
The show will be directed by Olivier Award-winning Tamara Harvey, Theatr Clwyd’s artistic director, who made her debut in pantomime directing this year. The show will again be written by award-winning writer Christian Patterson, his fifth panto for the venue.
