Former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton will star in the 2023 UK and Ireland tour of The Bodyguard.
Announced northern dates are Bradford Alhambra (February 7-11); Liverpool Empire (March 20-25); Manchester Palace (April 3-15); Leeds Grand (June 12-17) and Venue Cymru, Llandudno (June 19-24).
Selling over 70 million albums as a member of one of the most celebrated girl groups of all time, Melody is a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated artist who in 2020 released her debut solo EP, Lioness Eyes.
Melody received acclaim for her performance as the star of The Bodyguard on a six-month tour of China.
Based on the 1992 Oscar-nominated film starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, in the UK The Bodyguard on stage was nominated for four Olivier Awards. The show has played to over 3.6 million people in 15 countries and 45 US cities.
The romantic thriller features classics including Queen of the Night, So Emotional, One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love, Run to You, I Have Nothing, I Wanna Dance with Somebody and I Will Always Love You.
