The Grill (Jokes About Ovens) is a new adults-only comedy from Manchester-based Peripeteia Theatre Company – a group well-known for its boundary-teasing,– this time with an absurdist tale of two chefs alone in the death row kitchen at a maximum security prison. The show premieres at The King's Arms in Salford (August 12-15).

The comedy explores class, capitalism, and the nature of the justice system. And cooking...
The company launched in 2020 and tries to work a little differently than most, collaborating with creative people from different backgrounds to explore various aspects of the world we live in.
Artistic director and writer Adam Cachia (also current creative director of high-intensity, short-play festival JB Shorts) leads a company that includes performers Noah Fox, Josh Bird and Reuben Gotts, and director Jacob Bell.
Suggested audience age is 16+
