No, not Netflix, Notflix...

Multi-award winning comedy musical Notflix: The Improvised Musical comes to Oldham Coliseum on February 5, with parodies of hit movies from a team of female comedy improvisers

Featuring the UK’s top female improv specialists and a live band, each performance of Notflix is unique. Based on an audience suggestions, the team – Clare Buckingham, Holly Mallett, Ailis Duff, Aisling Groves-McKeown, Emma Read, Emily Jane Kerr and Sarah Spencer – take the location, key scenes and characters as a starting point to create a new story that's not quite like the original. All the scenes, songs and vocals are improvised on the spot to create a high-camp, musical celebration of moviedom. During the pandemic the team has been busy creating a lot of online work.

The show rarely comes to the North West but has received widespread critical acclaim, including award-winning, five-star sell-out runs at several Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, award-winning sell-out runs at the Vaults Festivals in 2017 and 2018, and sell-out runs at the Brighton Fringe in the same years.
