The multi-award-winning musical SIX has a new cast for its 2022 UK tour. The current company will play its final performance on March 6, the new company taking over from March 8.

This means Theatre Clwyd will see the current cast for its run from February 22-26, but the new Queens will be in place when the show reaches Leeds Grand (March 29-April 2); Liverpool Empire (April 12-16); the Lowry in Salford (August 2-14) and Blackpool Winter Gardens (August 30-September 3).

The new touring Queens will be played by Chlöe Hart (Catherine of Aragon), Jennifer Caldwell (Anne Boleyn), Casey Al-Shaqsy (Jane Seymour), Aiesha Pease (Anna of Cleves), Jaina Brock-Patel (Katherine Howard) and Alana M Robinson (Catherine Parr). The cast is backed by the show’s all-female band, The Ladies in Waiting.

SIX follows the six wives of Henry VIII as they take to the mic to tell their own personal tales, remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st century girl power.

Since its early days as a student production in a 100-seat room at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the show has become a global musical phenomenon which has productions playing on Broadway and at the Sydney Opera House prior to an Australian and New Zealand tour, with a major US tour coming soon. The London production is in its third royal residence in the West End and the UK tour continues, booking through to 2023.
