A new production of hit musical Legally Blonde The Musical will tour the UK and Ireland next year after opening at Curve Leicester in February.
In our area the show will visit Sheffield (March 2026), Liverpool (April), York (April), Newcastle (May), Leeds (June), Hull (October), Manchester (November) and Sunderland (December 2026) in our area.
Based on the novel by Amanda Browning and Reece Witherspoon's 2001 film, the multi-award winning show will be directed by Curve’s artistic director Nikolai Foster (previously responsible for productions of Kinky Boots, The Wizard of Oz and A Chorus Line, among others) and comes hot on the heels of the hugely successful tour of Kinky Boots.
Curve’s chief executive Chris Stafford and Nikolai Foster said: “Laurence O’Keefe, Nell Benjamin and Heather Hach’s musical about empowerment, equality and the folly of judging a book by its cover remains pitch-perfect and as relevant as ever. We have assembled the creative team and we are looking forward to creating a fresh, fun and sunny production.”
