West End and Broadway hit musical &Juliet kicks off a new UK tour at the Manchester Opera House next year (July 8-20,2024) – the theatre where it started life back in 2019.
Other northern dates include Blackpool Opera House (July 23-27); Hull New Theatre (September 23-28); Liverpool Empire (October 28-November 2); Leeds Grand (November 18-30); Bradford Alhambra (March 24-29, 2025); Sheffield Lyceum (May 20-31, 2025) and Newcastle Theatre Royal (June 2-7, 2025).
The show flips the script on the greatest love story ever told and asks what would happen next if Juliet didn’t end it all over Romeo? The show features a playlist of pop anthems: Baby One More Time, Roar and chart toppers Since U Been Gone, It’s My Life, I Want It That Way and Can’t Stop the Feeling!
&Juliet has become a global hit – the Broadway production has broken box office records and is in its second year, while a US tour is set for 2024. The Australian production opened in Melbourne in February before heading to Marina Bay Sands in Singapore this summer and will return to Australia in December, opening in Perth before heading to Sydney in February. It spent four years in London's West End, closing in March this year.
