The London Palladium production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is back on tour in 2025 for the first time in three years- and returns to Manchester in February.
The massively-popular musical will play at the Manchester Opera House from February 26-March 9, and tickets are now on sale. The show then moves to Blackpool Winter Gardens from April 9-13, Newcastle Theatre Royal (June 10-15) and Liverpool Empire (July 15-20).
The multi-award-winning show has been performed hundreds of thousands of times, including multiple runs in the West End and on Broadway, as well as international tours in over 80 countries, and it has been one of the world’s most beloved family musicals for decades. The Palladium production received a rapturous reception during 2019 and 2021 summer seasons, before its first major UK tour in 2022.
Producer Michael Harrison said: "Few shows bring the generations together the way Joseph does, and we can’t wait to welcome audiences new and old to make memories that will last a lifetime.”
Released originally as a record album in 1969, the stage version of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has become one of the world’s most beloved family musicals. The multi-award-winning show, which began life as a small-scale school concert, has been performed all over the world and features songs that have become pop and musical theatre standards, including Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door To Me, Jacob and Sons, There’s One More Angel In Heaven and Go, Go, Go Joseph.
