Pretty Woman, The Musical is heading to several North West venues as part of a major UK tour.

The dates include the Liverpool Empire (January 23-February 3, 2024), Hull New Theatre (February 5-10), York Grand Opera House (February 20-24), Manchester Opera House (March 5-16), Leeds Grand (May 14-25) and Sheffield Lyceum September 23-October 28).

The West End production continues to play at the Savoy Theatre in London, where it is booking through to June.

The show is based on the major Hollywood movie feelgood comedy that made a star of Julia Roberts. In the late 1980s, Vivian meets Edward and her life changes forever. Audiences are swept up in the rags-to-riches romance in a theatrical take on a very unlikely love story between a millionaire and a (really rather nice) street walker. Get to know the iconic characters in a whole new way – in a show guaranteed to raise your spirits.

The show had its world premiere at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre in 2018 before transferring to Broadway, where it ran at the Nederlander Theatre. The show has also been seen in Germany and on a major US tour.

The London run opened in 2020 and had over a year out due to Covid, but has been a big hit since starting up again in the middle of 2021.

The show features original music and lyrics by Grammy award-winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, a book by Garry Marshall and the film’s screenwriter, JF Lawton, and is directed and choreographed by the two-time Tony award-winner, Jerry Mitchell. And of course the show also features its “title song” - Roy Orbison’s smash-hit Oh, Pretty Woman.
