When you've found a successful formula don't mess with it, is the motto for Liverpool's Just Entertainment producers, whose Dick Whittington at Hope Street Theatre December 14-31 features much the same cast and creatives as last year's sold out Jack and the Beanstalk.
Cast members are all local to the Merseyside region, with Liverpool Live’s Lesley Butler playing the evil Queen Rat and John Garfield-Roberts, again donning the frock as the larger-than-life Sarah the Cook.
Liverpudlian Michael Irvine-Hall, one of the faces of the hit Bongo’s Bingo, is Dick, while Phil Perez, the UK’s face of the family board game Pop-Up Pirate, returns as Captain Fitzwarren.
St Helen’s based Kieran Maleedy is Idle Jack and LIPA graduate Faye Griffiths is Fairy Cross the Mersey. Completing the cast will be a junior ensemble from Hope Street-based Performers Theatre School. More info and tickets here
