Guest stars for Friends parody musical

Louise Redknapp and Ella Vaday will make celebrity guest appearances in comedy musical Friendsical, during its run at The Lowry in Salford (October 31-November 5).

Friendsical is a parody inspired by the US TV show Friends. Louise (Thursday-Saturday evenings) and Ella (Monday-Wednesday evenings and Friday-Saturday matinees) will join the cast to make cameo appearances and perform the musical number Richard’s Moustache.

Louise says: “I’m thrilled I’ll be a guest in Friendsical. I’ve always been a huge Friends fan and now I finally get a chance to be part of the show, sort of! I’ve watched it for many years, so this is super exciting for me.”

Ross, Rachel, Joey, Monica, Chandler and Phoebe have been around on TV for 30 years and this theatre parody crams all 10 seasons and 236 episodes into just over two hours – as all six friends sit around the iconic brown couch in Central Perk to take a trip down memory lane.

Writer-director Miranda Larson says, “From day one of airing, I have been a huge fan of the TV show, and it has been a dream to stage and celebrate this iconic series.

"There's something for everyone in Friendsical, from the well-known references to ones that only megafans, like me, will get."
