A new tour of Louisa May Alcott's much-loved Little Women tours from March

Famous TV faces Belinda Lang (2point4 Children, Sister Boniface Mysteries), Honeysuckle Weeks (Foyles War, Calendar Girls the Musical), Jack Ashton (Call the Midwife, The Archers) and Grace Molony (Country Girls, The Great) lead the cast in a new production of Little Women, premiering in Coventry then moving on tour to Blackpool's Grand Theatre (March 25-29). Other northern dates are the Lowry, Salford (April 8-12), Sheffield Lyceum (May 6-10) and Leeds Grand (June 10-14).

Meet the magnificent March sisters – tomboy Jo, beautiful Meg, sensitive Beth, and spoilt Amy – as they navigate the challenges of the American Civil War era while forging unbreakable bonds of love and family. Anne Marie Casey's new adatation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic tale is, unusually for a mainly touring venue, a Grand Theatre co-production, alongside filmmaker and producer Lee Dean and West End producer Daniel Schumann. Lee has presented more than 100 productions worldwide include Judy, starring Renee Zellweger and Rebus: A Game Called Malice.

Anne-Marie Casey’s other play adaptations include Wuthering Heights. For TV, her credits include Miss Haversham, The Shockers, The Story of Lucy Gault.
