Factory offers 2023 fellowships

Manchester International Festival's Factory International has opened applications for its 2023 Fellowship awards.

The scheme is an opportunity for six artists based in the North to gain insight into the way festival organisers make work with artists at MIF23 and Factory International.

The programme allows Fellows to explore their work through mentoring opportunities, coaching, observational placements, international networking and support from other artists.

Fellows also receive support and advice from MIF's touring, fund-raising, digital and producing departments.

The Factory International 2023 Fellowship is now open for applications from artists with at least two years developing their work, who might be at a transitional stage in their career and who live in the North of England. Applications can be from any discipline.

The six successful Fellows will work as a group to share their experiences. All successful artists will receive funds to support them during their Fellowship period.

The MIF Creative Fellows initiative has supported 17 Fellows since 2017, and previous recipients are part of an expanding programme that extends beyond their immediate MIF involvement.
