Following sold-out seasons in London and New York, new musical Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical is launching a UK tour with northern dates at York's Grand Opera House (February 18-22); Manchester Palace (March 25-29); Leeds Grand (May 6-10), and Hull New Theatre (May 13-17).
Based on the 1999 romance/thriller movie - inspired in turn by the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical features 1990s pop from Britney Spears, Boyz II Men, Christina Aguilera, TLC, REM, Natalie Imbruglia, The Verve, *NSYNC and more.

Step-siblings Sebastian Valmont and Kathryn Merteuil engage in a cruel bet: Kathryn goads Sebastian into attempting to seduce Annette Hargrove, the headmaster’s virtuous daughter.
Weaving a web of secrets and temptation, their crusade wreaks havoc on the students at their exclusive Manhattan high school – and it’s not long before the duo become entangled in their own web of deception and unexpected romance.
Abbie Budden will return to the role of Annette Hargrove, with Will Callan (Les Misérables) as Sebastian Valmont; Nic Myers (Cabaret) plays Kathryn; Lucy Carter, Luke Connor Hall, Joe Simmons, Gabriella Williams, Kevin Yates, Olivia Brookes, Ben Fenwick, Sophie Hutchinson and Onuri Smith complete the cast.
