
Scriptwriter supreme Aaron Sorkin's acclaimed Broadway and West End stage adaptation of classic American novel To Kill A Mockingbird launches a major UK tour at Leeds Playhouse (September 8-October 4), followed by northern dates at the Lowry, Salford (January 13-24, 2026); Sheffield Lyceum (January 27-February 7); Theatre Royal, Newcastle (April 21-25) and Liverpool Empire (May 12-16,).

The West Wing writer's adaptation of Lee’s novel of racial injustice and childhood innocence had sold-out seasons on both sides of the Atlantic in 2022-23.
The book was inspired by Lee’s own childhood and has sold more than 45 million copies worldwide. Mockingbird won a Pulitzer Prize for Literature and was long at the top of America's banned-books lists for depiction of one of the uglier sides of American society.
