Intended for two-year-olds and over, Bing - available on CBeebies, BBC iPlayer, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video and others - has been entertaining children worldwide for over a decade. Bing: Watch, Play Learn has over 7 billion streams on YouTube and recently topped over a billion streams on iPlayer, making it one of the most popular series nationally.

Now Bing the Bunny's followers can celebrate Bing’s Birthday with a new live theatre show that begins a five-month UK tour at Salford's Lowry from February 20-23.

It’s Bing’s birthday and he and his friends, Sula, Pando, Coco, Amma and Flop get ready to celebrate his special day.

Bing's creators try to authentically portray the joyful and sometimes messy reality of pre-school life through stories seen through the eyes of a child. Following a successful run of the production across the Netherlands and Poland, this UK tour of Bing’s Birthday comes from producers Fierylight (Peppa Pig Live, The BFG) and the producers of the international award-wining animated series.

Martin Ronan, executive producer at Fierylight, said, “This is a show guaranteed to be full of all the excitement, expectation and heightened emotions you would expect at a young child’s birthday party. Exploring feelings that can sometimes be difficult to describe makes this show unlike anything else available to UK families - and it's no surprise it's so popular all across Europe.”

Other northern tour dates include St Helens Theatre Royal (February 25-26); St George's Hall, Bradford (April 5-6); the Floral Pavillion, New Brighton (April 16-17); Hull New Theatre (May 10-11); the Victoria Theatre, Halifax (May 31-June 1); Venue Cymru in Llandudno (June 10-11) and Leeds Playhouse (June 22-23).
