Back where it all began, and with the entire original creative team again in charge, hit comedy Home I'm Darling is back at Theatr Clwyd in Mold from March 14-18.

After the 2018 Mold premiere the show went on to the National Theatre and then the West End, winning the 2019 Olivier award for best new comedy.

Scripted by Laura Wade, the thought-provoking show is about one woman’s quest to be the perfect 1950s housewife. How happily married are the happily married? Behind the gingham curtains, things start to unravel and being a domestic goddess isn't as easy as it seems.

Leading the cast this time round are BAFTA award winner Jessica Ransom (Doc Martin, Armstrong and Miller, Horrible Histories) as Judy; Diane Keen (Doctors, The Cuckoo Waltz) as Sylvia and Neil McDermott (Eastenders, The Royal) as husband Johnny.

Theatr Clwyd artistic director and co-director designate of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Tamara Harvey, again leads the creatives. It is co-directed by Hannah Noone, with design by Olivier award-winner Anna Fleischle, lighting by Lucy Carter, sound design by Tom Gibbons and choreography by Charlotte Broom.
